Week 1         INTRODUCTION

Getting to know you and your class mates and discussing the content of each lecture.

Week 2         SKIN CARE / BEAUTY THERAPY

An analysis of your skin type and the correct use of skin care products including cleansers, toners, masks and moisturisers.
Beauty therapy covers subjects such as personal hygiene, manicure and pedicure.

Week 3         MAKE-UP APPLICATION

Some of the students in this class may not be of the age to wear make- up but this lecture is a practical approach designed to teach the girls the correct application of make-up including highlighting, contouring and colouring.

Week 4         DEPORTMENT ( THIS ALSO INCLUDES LESSONS 9 & 11)

These 3 lectures teach the art of good posture, the nationally approved modelling turns and the development of a stylish mode  of walk on the runway.

Week 5         BODY IMAGE AND A HEALTHY DIET.

Our lecturer will discuss healthy eating for a healthy body and suggest ways to improve body image attitudes. Some great exercises to tone and strengthen will also be practiced.

Week 6         PERSONALITY, CONFIDENCE AND VOICE PRODUCTION

How to project your inner self outwardly to others. Learning to believe in one’s own abilities. Television script practice and filming.

Week 7         PHOTOGRAPHIC SHOOT

This lecture is given by one of Adelaide’s leading photographers. Learn how to pose confidently in front of the camera and discover the many exciting aspects of the new you.

Week 8         ETIQUETTE

Modern day manners for social and professional situations.

Week 9         Deportment

Week 10       DRESS SENSE

Planning and accessorizing your wardrobe. Selecting clothing to suit your height, shape and colouring and discussing the latest fashion trends

Week 11       Deportment

Week 12       DRESS REHEARSAL AND REVISION

This rehearsal is to prepare yourself for your Graduation where you will showcase your modelling skills in a live fashion show.  Members of the fashion and advertising industries are invited to this glamorous evening which allows for you a valuable introduction to industry leaders.
